THE USE OF ANALYSIS METHODS IN HISTORY LESSONS AT WORK WITH HISTORICAL SOURCES

Abstract: the article discusses the methods of analysis when working with historical sources in the history lessons. Today, independent cognitive activity of students plays an increasingly important role in the educational process. Under the guidance of the teacher, students gradually master the skills of independent work. Among them, as the most difficult – the ability to analyze and on the basis of this to make their own conclusions.  Modern education is based on the competence approach, which involves the formation of core competencies. In the process of historical education, students form one of the fundamental competencies – information one. One of the means of its formation is the historical source. The fundamental method when working with historical sources is analysis.  The task of the analysis is to study the individual parts of the object with subsequent conclusions on the phenomenon under study. Students should be able not only to think logically, but also to put into practice their knowledge.  Thus, the consideration of methods of analysis when working with historical sources in the history lessons is relevant and requires attention.
