Abstract: modern conditions of increased risk of spreading the CORONAVIRUS flu virus (COVID-19) have switched educational institutions in Russia to distance learning mode. The increased threat to life and health around the world has increased the overall level of uneasiness and anxiety of the world’s population. Due to the changed conditions, a special program of socio-psychological adaptation of a person who is in social isolation or distancing is required. The authors placed a specific group of master students of psychological and pedagogical education and their features of socio-psychological adaptation to the new conditions of the distance learning regime during the emergency situation in the country in the center of their research. This article attempts to find effective mechanisms of self-isolation applied at a distance, including training, education and personal development. The authors’ conclusions concerning the formation of mechanisms for social and psychological adaptation of future psychologists through the use of self-research and self-education methods are particularly interesting.
