THE DEFINITIONS OF “PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY”, “SAFE PERSONALITY TYPE” AND “SAFE PERSONALITY” IN SCIENTIFIC REFLECTION

Abstract: this article highlights the history and current state of the problems of study associated with the concepts in psychological and pedagogical science, “psychological safety” and “safe personality”. In order to avoid confusion of semantic meanings in the practice of psychological research of two non-identical, but often confused terms, the authors offer a comparative analysis of the psychological nature of the definitions of “psychological safety” and “safe personality”. If “psychological safety” is determined by the well-being and nature of the sensation of danger at the psyche level, then the “safe person” itself is the bearer of emotional comfort and social stability of relations. This article provides evidence and examples of the manifestation of both concepts studied. The selection of determination techniques and methodological principles of the study showed the possibility of a clear separation of these concepts in the scientific consciousness of a specialist.
