Abstract: the article discusses the indicators of the system for conducting assessments of participants in the competition for the filling of the posts of teachers of the teaching staff on the example of NRUT “MISiS”. Arguments are presented that the existing certification method is not objective and requires revision. It is an assessment of the total complexity taking into account the required discipline, which is the volume of the educational program. The application of the concepts of the credit system in assessing the overall complexity is independent, as it can be perceived ambiguously, as the developed credit system is applicable only for the combined disciplines and indicators of the student’s workload on a specific curriculum.
