Abstract: the article presents the experience of the educational singing team using the choir solfedging of V.A.Chernushenko in order to solve the issues of vocal-intonation organization of the choir. Universal possibilities are presented as a method of formation of vocal-auditory representations in the process of its application in practical work in order to create a unified singing team in conditions of training in the middle and higher professional institution. The issue of formation of the choir collective on the basis of unity of conscious and active participation of each singer of the choir, as well as the choirmaster in the production of vocal-intonation organization of the choir was considered.
It was established that the musical and performing process in the choir collective is based on the development by its participants of a system of special musical-theoretical, vocal-choir knowledge, abilities and skills. The conductor-choirmaster should strive to build his work with the collective in such a way that the main ratios of musical activity – music and life, music and man are defining in all sections of classes with the choir.
The conducted research proves in practice the correctness of persuasion – shortcomings of coordination of hearing and vocal intonation are overcome by the systematic use of the method of out-of-stage intonation by V.A.Chernushenko in the conditions of formalization of the singing team with different-level vocal and musical-theoretical preparation.
Thus, the head of the choir should have a good knowledge of various methods of vocal work, which are formed on the basis of studying the experience of specialists of the past who have left their mark on the history of musical education, and new trends of modern practice, in which choir singing can be perceived as an artistic phenomenon.
