TRAINING OF FUTURE MANAGERS FOR CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION BASED ON THE PRINCIPLE OF CROSS-CULTURAL EFFECTIVENESS

Abstract: the article discusses the definitions of such concepts as: management, manager, interaction, culture, intercultural interaction, principle, principle of effectiveness, principle of intercultural effectiveness. We substantiated the relevance of the problem of preparing future managers for intercultural interaction in the modern world. The skills that should be trained in preparation for intercultural interaction are described. The personal qualities required by students for a full and effective intercultural dialogue are noted. A brief history of the concept of “management” is indicated, the H. Fayol’s functions of managers and the modern functions of managers (arising after the change of the classical management paradigm) are analyzed, the features of the current situation in management in Russia are noted. The unit of interaction is indicated, as well as the levels and components of the interaction. The methods of interaction and the conditions for successful interaction are described. The changes that are currently taking place are the consequences of the globalization process (in all spheres of activity in general and specifically in education). The forms of manifestation of the need for the preservation of cultural values are considered. The forms, types and realities of intercultural interaction are described. The importance of the principle of intercultural effectiveness in the training of future managers is considered. It is indicated how the system of preparing students for intercultural interaction should be organized. The key skills of future managers are described.
