INFLUENCE OF THE INFORMAL LEADER ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION’S EMPLOYEES

Abstract: in modern conditions, due to a number of reasons (individual typological features, rapid pace of life, a large flow of information, a variety of production tasks), not every manager can simultaneously perform all the functions of an informal leader (even just for physical reasons). Therefore, in order to optimize the workflow, it is important to control and manage the mechanism of development and leadership formation, at least to prevent the appearance of other leaders who can destructively affect the development of the organization. The topic of leadership is relevant throughout its development, primarily due to the development of scientific sectors, which consider such concepts as “leader”, “management”, “personnel”. In addition, subordinates want to see in their leader not a manager devoid of feelings and emotions, but above all a sincere person who possesses the best personal and moral characteristics, who pays close attention not only to the growth of the organization and himself, but also to subordinates. As part of the research, the author focuses on the interdisciplinary nature of the topic under study. A great contribution to the development of the theory of leadership was made by ancient philosophers and modern scientists: Plato, Hegel, Nietzsche, Machiavelli, R.L. Krichevsky, B.D. Parygin, P.A Prosetsky, A.N. Zankovsky, O.S. Vihnansky, A.I. Nakhumov, Dvoynikova E.Yu. and others. Based on the work done, we can conclude that one of the main ways to find interaction with an informal leader is to authorize him with the rights of a formal leader and delegate authority. As a result, a person with power who combines his ambitions with his position will become a good leader or become a regular boss, giving orders and demanding their execution. This article can be useful for: personnel management specialists, managers, top managers, teachers, career consultants, etc.

Keywords: informal leader, leadership, organizations, methods of social management.
